With only 5 men they found it difficult to contain Walkovers who found scoring easy, Optimus only taking one wicket in the final over with four batsmen retiring. Bouchard and Roche top scoring with 27 a piece, and they were supported ably by Naylor (26) and English (25).
In response Optimus found the gaps and where ahead of the rate for the whole chase, all batsman contributing with Ian Crocker top scoring with 38 NOT OUT and Brant Duncan supporting with a hard hitting 37. They where supported brilliantly by Nigel Crocker and Bradley Vautier with 24 and 31 respectively. Optimus cantered in with one over to spare and two wickets remaining.
