Andrew has progressed through the seasons, and has firmly established himself as an important member of the Walkovers team. His left-arm medium pace troubles even the best of batsmen when he gets his line and length right. Since 2007 he has opened the batting well on several occasions and bowled some very impressive spells. Against St Helier he broke the clubs bowling records taking 5 for 9 from his 3 overs.
A previous winner of bowler of the year, his greatest achievement must be a single over at the ‘death’ against Centurions in 2005. He managed to contain the batsmen and led Walkovers to a win, which put the club on the way to the JEP Cup Final – probably Walkovers greatest achievement thus far.
