A member of the original Walkovers side in 2001, His work and family commitments have led to him playing less regularly but he still remains one of the more popular members of the team and played for fun rather than any serious sport.
That said, he certainly seemed to have his moments of glory. Indeed in 2003, Paul picked up the award for Walkovers Performance of the Year, following his fine game against Hautlians. Paul picked up 3-31 that day, it was this performance that went a long way towards him picking up another award – Most Improved Player of the Year.
