Dear John,
I’d like to personally thank you, Walkovers Cricket Club, InfrasoftTech, Patidar Jefferey & Co, and everyone involved in organising such a great event and raising such a fantastic amount of money, I was so pleased to receive a total of £22,736-60. I can’t begin to tell you how much this means to me and the Trust at a time when fundraising income has dropped due to the recession. It couldn’t have been on a better weekend, the weather was beautiful and the crowd were all in great spirits, it will be a weekend I remember for a long time. It really is appreciated and we are so very grateful to you.
This has been a very important year for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, with the commencement of the pilot trials for a drug that may successfully treat the lung complications in Cystic Fibrosis children. We are currently awaiting the results which will be released in January, so everyone has their fingers crossed for good news. This could then lead to further trials in the UK and eventually around the world.
The CF Trust relies entirely on voluntary donations, so your support is not only very welcome but vital to our work. Thank you so much on behalf of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Yours sincerely
